I have just come to the conclusion I am the worst blogger! Once I get behind on posts, I get overwhelmed because it takes me so long to upload and post pics from my iphone to this blog. I really just need to find another way besides picasa because that program doesn't like me!
Well, I am just going to update on what we have been up to lately because I can't go back all the way to December! I wanted to post pics from our trip back to Indiana/Chicago but I can't get the photos to upload:-(. We had such a great trip seeing all of the family and friends. Those 11 days went by way too fast!! The highlight of our trip was definitely watching the girls play so well with all of their cousins!! Here was Sophie and Katie going down Grandma and Papa Choate's hill...
It really makes us realize how we would LOVE to be closer to home one day! The girls also had so much fun watching Disney on Ice at the United Center, even though my mom and I might have liked it more:-). It is just so much fun taking the girls to see and do more things now that they are older! I can only imagine how much fun Disney World would be!! Tony and I also now realize that we can fly anywhere with the girls! The flights we took to and from Hawaii were about 8.5 hours and the girls did AWESOME - thanks to the iPad!
We have also been doing lots of activities with the girls. Sophie has swimming lessons now on Monday's and she is doing great. It is just her and AJ, her little boyfriend. They have the sweetest instructor that really does great with the little kids.
Emma is now taking lessons at another pool because her instructor Mr. Curtis is in Afghanistan for 3 months. She has lessons on Tuesday's and Thursday's. She has been struggling a bit because the pool isn't heated like Mr. Curtis' and she keeps getting a new instructor. Emma does take a while to warm up, especially when it is a male. Her swimming is definitely improving and she is constantly impressing us with her abilities!
Emma also just started taking gymnastics last Friday. She was very nervous at first but her friend Allie, who is also taking lessons, just grabbed Emma's hand and said, "let's go Emma"! OMG, it was so sweet and Emma was totally fine after that! When she was done, she came up to me and said, "I want to do that again mommy!" This was definitely a first for Emma. I knew if she just tried it she would love it. Emma is always doing summersaults around the house and climbing up on everything. At her next lesson, I will take a video to share:-).
Okay, now onto the big news which everyone pretty much knows about. I am 13 weeks pregnant with baby #3 due August 22!
Well, this one definitely wasn't planned but believe it was meant to be. Hey, maybe this could be our Parker, doubtful, but you never know, haha!! We will find out the sex March 12 which is in just less than a month away, yikes!! I have had a great, uneventful pregnancy, thank god! I haven't been nearly as nauseous but really hungry! We haven't told the girls and will probably wait until I have a belly in hopes they will understand??
Seriously, it is the middle of December and we get to play outside at a park walking distance from our house - actually, we have several parks that we can just walk to:-)!! Oh and we get to walk around barefoot, ha!
I was planning on posting about our trip to the Big Island but decided to wrap presents instead, once it is confirmed that Emma is sleeping!!
We finally made it to the Children's Discovery Center. All the kids here are out for Winter Break so we have planned some fun things to do with the kids. There is really so much we haven't done on the island so hopefully we will get to do lots over the next 2 weeks!

Before I forget, here are two videos from Emma's Christmas Program! Like I expected, Emma just stood there. She wouldn't even jingle the bells during, "Jingle Bells"! I certainly hope she grows out of this timidness!! I think it is safe to say she is definitely her daddy's daughter:-)...
Also, keep your fingers crossed that Emma doesn't cough ALL NIGHT long like she did last night keeping mommy and daddy up for several hours!! We called the doctor and there really isn't much they can do for a 3 year old without a fever or vomiting:-(!!
We haven't had company in over a month and I still can't find time to blog, grrrr... Maybe this will be my New Year's Resolution:-)!
I have so much to post that I will keep my writing to a minimum and just share some pictures...

Emma at preschool the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It wasn't anything fancy. The parents just showed up 15 minutes early and the class sang a little turkey song. Emma of course just stood there looking terrified!!

Very exciting news - we finally got a nice grocery store in Ewa Beach and they have "kids carts" like they do in the mainland - you have no idea what a huge relief this is for me!!

Ahhh, my therapy....Black Friday shopping!! Toys r us was amazing and I got everything I wanted even though I waited in line starting at 6:40 and didn't even get through the doors until almost 9!

I still have no idea how I got this all out to my car by myself! It was probably a good thing I was solo so I couldn't buy more stuff, haha!!

My girls will walk around the neighborhood pushing their strollers for hours! For some reason they have to stop at almost every house and take a picture or try to play with the toys on the porch...so exhausting!! Sophie will sit down and say, "take picture" and followed by "cheeeeesssseee"!!

The girls are truly in the Holiday Spirit and just loving anything and everything Christmas - this makes mommy very happy!! We go around looking at Christmas Lights several nights a week! The fun thing about Hawaii is that so many houses decorate. There is a difference though from the mainland - houses aren't so decorated with all the lights but more the props!! I need to take some pics of our favorites to share! We also welcomed our elf Ruhfass - the best thing EVER!! Emma has almost been well-behaved since his arrival! She now will share and use her manners and then declare that Ruhfass like manners and when she shares! Emma also takes a nap now so Ruhfass will go and tell Santa, thank the Lord!! I'm still not sure what we will do when he leaves:-(!!
This is probably the girls' favorite house because of Elmo and Cookie Monster. It also belongs to a girl in Emma's preschool!

Emma had her Preschool Christmas Performance the other night and she looked adorable with her class. Her class sang two songs then all the parents had a giant pot luck. There was also a Santa but Emma wanted NOTHING to do with him!
