We had a great Memorial Day Weekend!! Of course we beached it 2 out of the 3 day weekend! It was nice having Tony off for 3 days too!! On Saturday, we tried out a new beach in the North Shore called Kawela Bay. They filmed scenes from Lost here. The beach was beautiful without all of the crowds. I guess this beach isn't in all of the Oahu books so people really don't know about it. We were told the location based on a fruit stand across the street - the bay is hidden behind a ton of trees.

On Memorial Day, we went to Pokai Bay, about 30 minutes west of where we live. It is another one of our favorites because the water is protected by the bay so the water is calm! This is a popular stand up paddle location. I tried it once and wasn't a big fan. I think I will just stick to snorkeling:-)! Here are some pictures...
