Uncle Chuck, Uncle Brian and Auntie Sarah come to visit

This pretty much sums up our visit with silly Uncle Chuck.  Both Uncle Chuck and the girls had such a blast playing with the horse mask!

Chuck was only in Hawaii for 3 nights and 4 days so we had to give him the "quick" tour of the island.  My must sees are North Shore/Haleiwa, East Side of the island (blow hole, sandy beach, bellows...etc), Pearl Harbor (if you haven't been)  and the H-3 drive through Kaneohe/Kailua (must stop at Lani Kai beach).  Because I am the "tour nazi", Chuck got to see/do all of these things in his short trip.  He even had time to buy a ukelele and drink a few mai tai's:-)!!

Uncle Brian and Auntie Sarah were here for about 10 days and we had such a great time with them too. Tony was off for a week during their visit so the pressure was taken off me to guide them around with kids in tow (not a lot of fun for me).  Tony took everyone to Pearl Harbor (his first time) and got to spend lots of time with his brother:-).  It is sad but the girls don't really get to see Uncle Brian very much and they just enjoyed him so much!!
This was Sophie at the beach before she had to go to the doctor to have her elbow put back in place:-(.  It wasn't as serious as we thought, thankfully.  It took the doctor 10 sec. and Sophie barely even cried!

Uncle Brian having fun with the girls!

I can't even remember why Sophie's hair looked like this - my only guess is after the beach??

Emma and Sophie all ready for the Halloween Carnival at school:-).

Emma getting her face painted.

Emma wanted to look like a princess:-)!
My cute little Doc McEmma and Sophie Minnie Mouse!

While Brian and Sarah were at a nice dinner in KoOlina and Tony and I were with the girls at Emma's preschool carnival, we had our first tsunami warning, yikes!!!  It was a bit crazy!  The sirens were going off and everyone was packing the gas stations and grocery stores to get water, batteries, and toilet paper!!  I ran home with the kids and started packing my car with anything I could think of water, diapers, wipes, snacks, toilet paper(haha)...etc while Tony finished up stuff at the preschool.  I also filled up our tubs and any container I could find with water.  I really didn't know at this point if we would head for higher ground but wanted to be prepared.  My friend Jenn was really telling me everything I should do.  When Tony got home, we decided to evacuate just to be safe.  We took the back way out of town and it didn't take us too long to head to Waipahu  (higher ground).  My neighbor, who came and checked on us, told us everyone heads to Walmart so that is what we did:-).  We hung out in a parking lot for a few hours and once we were out of danger, we headed back home (around 11:30ish).
My try at taking a picture of the crazy gas station....people were lined up at least 30 cars deep at this small gas station.

My car parked in the parking lot with everyone else!

Brian and Sarah left dinner and came and found us in the parking lot.

The day after the tsunami warning, we took the girls to a pumpkin patch.
