Lesson Learned with 2 girls

Life with two girls has finally hit us:-)!  When we moved here we only brought about half of the girls' toys.  The move and the packing happened so quickly I didn't really have time to think through which toys to bring and which toys to store in Missouri.  When I was at a friend's house, Sophie loved playing with their stroller.  I immediately thought, "great, a perfect Easter gift for Sophie" - knowing that I didn't bring any strollers in our move.  Emma had so many gifts already that I was just excited to find something easy for Sophie.  On Easter Eve, Tony was putting together the stroller for Sophie and he immediately told me that this was going to be a problem!  I still thought it would be ok.

Here is a video of  the girls on Easter morning with their Easter basket...

As you can see, we just went and bought a new stroller and life is back to normal:-).  I really didn't know what to do in this situation.  I really had 2 options - take stroller away or buy Emma her own stroller.  Getting them to share at this age just really wasn't a battle I was willing to fight.  Taking away the stroller wouldn't be fair to poor Sophie who just wanted to walk around pushing her stroller without Emma stealing it from her every time.  Buying Emma a new stroller doesn't really teach her to share either.  But in her defense, we did put 2 strollers in storage in MO which Emma just loved.  I finally just told Tony the situation and after finding out how cheap the stroller was he said just go and buy another darn stroller - DONE!!  I will have to take the opportunity to prove a point on sharing but not with the stroller!

Before I forget, I finally got a new look.  I paid someone a few months ago to design my website and she took FOREVER but at least it is finally done:-)!  I'm happy with the layout but wish I could change the pictures in the heading.  I now, thanks to my friend Jenn, have so many cuter pics but it took the lady so long to design I didn't want to change anything - in fear it would take her another few months to finish!
