Post NeNe and Mayah

Well, my mom and niece, Mayah, left Monday night.  I feel like my week and a half vacation is over too!!  We were really all over the island.  I hope Mayah had a good time because I am EXHAUSTED!!  Miss Emma and Miss Sophie really know how to make traveling around difficult for everyone involved, but especially mom!!
Since NeNe (what Emma calls my mom) left, this is what Emma has been up to...

Even my happy girl has been so cranky lately.  I know it is just the teeth but gheesh she is really driving her mommy bonkers!!

Yup, that is sand all over the bathtub.  I've been cleaning and cleaning up sand since mom and Mayah left!  I love company but hate the clean-up after they leave.  Not that they make a huge mess but I feel like I'm on vacation too and don't keep up with my day-to-day cleaning chores.

Sophie also had her 15 month check-up today.  I'm hoping those shots help her take an extra long nap cause I really want to nap too, shhhhh.  I meant to take a picture of Sophie at the doctor but Emma was being Emma and I never got the chance.  I wonder what the nurses say about my crazy kids after I leave?  I will have to post her stats later cause I am still waiting on the nurse from Dr. Ryan's office to call me back.  They told me all of her stats and percentages but I just assumed they wrote them down for me - well I assumed wrong.   

North Shore Day 2

First we went to Waimea Valley Falls. They charged to much and we didn't even get to swim in the waterfall! It was just a paved path that followed a creek. After that we went to Joes in Hale'iwa for lunch. I had a salad and fries. Emma found a boyfriend! ;) Then we went to Hidden Beach in North Shore. The dirt road we went on to get there was really bumpy. Aunt Kelly was like freaking out! Then we found the path to the hidden beach and Aunt Kelly peed in the weeds. Then we went down to the beach. We couldn't swim because it was rocky and there was a lot of waves! Then we went to Dole Plantation to get some pineapple whip. It was really yummy! The only problem was that Granny had most the ice cream and she got locked in the plantation while we were all outside! She got out though and we all had the ice cream. Bibi :P

North Shore

First we went to the Warrior Dash to watch Jenn run it. Everyone who ran was muddy. Then we went to lunch in Kua Alina in Hale'iwa with Jenn and Brian. Towards the end Brian took me to two surf shops next to the restaurant. I bought a cute t shirt there. Then we went to a shaved ice place called Matsumoto in Hale'iwa. The line went all the way out the door. I'm not a big fan of shaved ice but there's was really good! Then we all went to Surf n Sea which is a small surf shop. Granny bought me a swim suit cover up shirt there. I didn't know she was gonna buy it.  It was a surprise. Then we went to Turtle Beach. There were some surfers and there were a few turtles sleeping on the beach. Then we went to Waimea Bay. It was really pretty and I went down the sand dune and got really sandy! The last beach we went to was Banzai Pipeline. That's where a lot of surfers surf and they have surfing competitions there. Granny and Aunt Kelly started talking to a surfer dude and made me take my picture with him. Then we stopped by Dole plantation but it closed six minutes before we got there. Bibi :P

Ko Olina and Just Tacos

Yesterday Granny and I went to Ko Olina. Aunt Kelly dropped us off at 10:30 and picked us up at 5:30. Mostly we sat out tanning but I went in the water and swam a little. Granny left her purse in the car so when we went to eat lunch at the restaurant we had to use Aunt Kelly's credit card. I had a virgin Pina Colada and a pb&j sandwich with fries. Then we went back to the beach. We tanned some more then sat on the grass. We were watching people go by. Then we went to the parking lot to wait for Aunt Kelly to pick us up. I decided to plank on a pole but I failed. Then Emma, Sophie, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Tony, and I went out to eat at Just Tacos with Jenn, Brian, Allie, and AJ. We ate outside at a big table. I sat next to Allie. Apparently Allie takes a while to get used to someone but she liked me right away. After we ate all the kids got up and started running around the palm tree and they all screamed, "Mayah! Mayah!" so I had to get up and chase them around the tree. I went back to the table and there was a HUGE moth there! At first I thought it was a small bat so I was scared. And I'm not exaggerating! Bibi :P

East Oahu Sights

First we went to Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling. It was beautiful and really fun. Me and Aunt Kelly went out twice and one of those times I hit my knee really hard on the coral. Granny and Aunt Kelly went once together. Also Aunt Kelly and Granny were drooling over some life guard and Aunt Kelly snuck a picture of him. It was funny! Then we went to Halona Blowhole. You can see whales there but we didn't see any. It was really pretty! Also there was a girl there who had a little pig. She wanted us to take a picture of her and her pig. She was taking it sight seeing because its her pet and where she's moving doesn't let her keep it. She said she's giving it to her parents. I asked if I could have a picture of her pig and she said sure:). After that we went to Wamanalo to eat at Keneke's. Its a local restaurant that serves burgers and ice cream. We ate outside and Emma kept getting into some brochures. Whenever we took one away she would take another one!!! On the way home we stopped at Gap. We couldn't keep Emma out of the shoes! She also kept getting into the clothes! She was a mess! Bibi :)

Pearl Harbor

Me and Granny went  to pearl harbor. It was really boring. We got in and bought nachos and Granny got a hot dog. We ate then went to the memorial thing. We had to watch a movie before going to the memorial. It was a long and boring movie but then we got on a boat that took us to the memorial. All we did at the memorial was look at the ship that sank and the wall that said who died. Then we got back on the boat and went back to the place where we started out at. We bought some ice cream, pretzels, a sandwich, and water. Then we got on a shuttle and went to a battleship thing. We kept going up and down stairs and we ended up getting lost and walking in a huge circle around the ship.
